The MP for Welwyn Hatfield, Grant Shapps, visited Safari Stars Nursery in his constituency to join them in celebrating their one-year anniversary.

Safari Stars Nursery creates a stimulating, safe and welcoming environment in which children from all different backgrounds and cultures feel valued. The nursery splits into 5 different age groups in which its highly trained staff are able to cater to each child’s individual needs.

Mr Shapps saw this first hand when he joined the staff, children and Mayor of Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council Barbara Fitzsimon to celebrate the nursery’s one-year anniversary. Mr Shapps was given a tour around the nursery seeing all the facilities, activities and schemes the children engaged with and enjoyed.

Director Shital Shah from Safari Stars Nursery thanked Mr Shapps for joining them for their one-year anniversary:

“It was a pleasure to host Mr Shapps at Safari Stars Nursery and celebrate our first-year anniversary. We enjoyed giving him a tour around the nursery and showcasing the work we do with children to help them through their early year’s journey, as well as an insight into the growth of our nursery in Hatfield. It is an important milestone for us especially against the backdrop of a challenging economic climate for local businesses.”
Mr Shapps commented on his visit and thanked the staff for all their hard work:

“It was wonderful to visit Safari Star Nursery in Hatfield to celebrate their one-year anniversary. I saw first-hand how hard-working and dedicated the staff are to the nursery’s children and the great facilities and activities that the children all enjoy.”

He continued:

“I want to thank everyone at Safari Star Nursery for having me along to celebrate their one-year anniversary with them. I wish them all the best for the future!”
