Welwyn Hatfield MP Grant Shapps recently went to visit the Wots Nots Charity Shop to see the fantastic work they are doing in continuing to support those in Welwyn Hatfield managing ill mental health.
Opening back in December 2000 they continue to provide opportunities for voluntary work & therapeutic unpaid employment for adults who are managing a mental health problem in the community, and do so by selling everything from clothes, toys, bric-a-brac, records, and books that have been donated by the public.
Grant said: “It was fantastic to get the chance to visit Wot-Nots and would encourage anyone who can, to donate items to the shop, and ensure that the valued and vital work they are doing in the local community continues to be made possible”.
Olwyn Buchta, General Manager said: “It was great to have our local MP come down to visit us and to be able to talk through with him the vital work we are continuing to offer in working to provide a supportive, and therapeutic working environment for those managing their long-term mental ill health in Welwyn Hatfield.”
