Welwyn Hatfield MP Grant Shapps visited Vertigo Adventures, an outdoor adventure course in Stanborough Park, to see first-hand the fantastic experience it offers to everyone who visits.

The course reopened in June last year, and has since gone from strength to strength with huge numbers of local residents and school groups coming to experience the high ropes, zip wire, climbing wall and more.

The course aims to get as many people from the local community and further afield to take part in the various activities.

Grant said: “I visited Vertigo Adventures to see for myself what’s on offer for anyone who chooses to come for a day out. I had an interesting briefing from the management about how the adventure course is becoming a real success, just a year after re-opening. 2017 alone has seen a huge increase in the number of school groups visiting, and I encourage all schools to come and have a go!”

Al Hadnett, of Vertigo Adventures, said: “It was great to have Grant come and visit Vertigo Adventures. Our motto is to go climb, go have adventures, and go vertigo. We want as many people as possible to visit as there is something for everyone from the age of five, with many more ‘senior’ citizens already showing us that age has no limit!”
