Welwyn Garden City-based business Secura have celebrated the official opening of their new expanded office by local MP Grant Shapps, as they continue to go from strength to strength.

Since the current management took over the critical cloud hosting provider business in 2014, Secura has steadily expanded from four staff members to thirty. In order to accommodate the increased workforce, the business has secured a larger office on Parkway opposite John Lewis in the heart of WGC. The office has dedicated areas for the operations, sales and marketing teams and is looking to recruit Welwyn Hatfield based residents.

After cutting the ribbon at the opening, Grant said: “It was great to open Secura’s new base in WGC. It’s really pleasing that that not only is the business rapidly growing but that they’re dedicated to employing local people in order to fill the roles. This is good news for our local community and I wish all at Secura the very best as they continue to expand.”

Secura CEO Oliver Beaton commented: “This official opening of our new office is a very proud moment for me. It is very real evidence of the team’s hard work over the last few years and the success this work has achieved. It is an exciting step forward for us as a business and one that will help underpin our plans for future growth.”
