Grant Shapps, the local MP for Welwyn Hatfield, was invited to KANE International in his constituency to celebrate their 60th year in Welwyn Hatfield.

KANE International is a local family business that designs analysers which help heating engineers install and service heat pumps, hydrogen, gas and oil boilers.

Mr Shapps was shown KANE’s latest model – the KANE 460 Heating and Cooling Analyser as well as taking him on a tour around their new building. Mr Shapps was shown all elements of the business from design to construction to sales and was told all about how the company supports the University of Hertfordshire and Oaklands College students into well-paid jobs in their many areas.

The CEO, Jonathan, thanked Mr Shapps for taking the time to visit:

“We really appreciate Grant’s support. His business, parliamentary and ministerial experience is invaluable in helping our Welwyn Hatfield constituents make KANE become the UK’s best analyser company.”

Mr Shapps was very happy to have been invited to celebrate their 60th year in the constituency:

“I am thrilled to see that KANE is doing so well and it was a joy to take a tour around their excellent new building to see how the business all fits together. It was a pleasure to join them to celebrate their 60th year in Welwyn Hatfield as KANE provides such fantastic job opportunities for the local community. I thank them for having me to visit”.

Mr Shapps wishes the team at KANE the best for the future.
