Huge step forward for regeneration of #Hatfield Town Centre, with @WelHatCouncil submitting £1.2m plans to transform White Lion Square. I will be talking to colleagues about how we can commemorate Mayor @LynneSparks, who worked so hard to achieve this.

Deeply saddened by the death of #WelwynHatfield Mayor Cllr @LynneSparks. A fantastic local councillor, who served twice as the borough's mayor, and a tireless campaigner for many local charities. My thoughts are with Ian and the whole family.
