Doctors Surgery
« on: March 10, 2006, 07:42:46 PM »
I understand that there is going to be a new Doctors Surgery within the district currently being built between the A1001 and the Next Gen Club, but where is a recommended local surgery that I can register with for the time being?

I've been registered with the Bridge Cottage Surgery in Welwyn since the early '80s and now I've climbed onto the property ladder I find myself outside their area - despite writing a begging letter, they won't keep me on temporarily until the new surgery is built   :-(

Can anyone recommend a good surgery - for a thirty something career person - ie. weekend / evening appointments?

Sorry, my bit got left out here! I just want to say Julia that I too was marched out of Bridge Cottage Surgery when I moved from Welwyn to WGC. No amount of begging, but I did find a surgery to take  me on in the end.
