Welwyn Hatfield residents are invited to attend the Mayor's Annual Civic Dinner and Dance, which this year will be held at Beales Hotel in Hatfield, on Saturday 20 February.
The formal event will be hosted by The Mayor, Councillor Kim Langley, and her husband and consort Mr Neil Langley. Guests will be treated to a lavish three course meal and a variety of dance and music entertainment from talented local youngsters Emma and Laura Cook, and Scottish Highland Dancer Daisy Watkins. National Act 'Serenity' will then take the stage for the rest of the night.
Tickets are priced at £40 per person. A charity auction and raffle will be held during the evening too, on behalf of the Mayor's chosen charities: Welwyn Hatfield Women's Refuge and The Willow Foundation. Money from ticket sales will also go to support the charities.
The Mayor, Councillor Kim Langley, said: "I'm really looking forward to the dinner and dance. It's a great opportunity for me to meet more people from around the borough, as well as raise vital funds for my charities, have a really good meal and enjoy some excellent entertainment. I'm excited to greet and get to know all my guests."
Guests should arrive by 6.45pm and no later than 7.15pm. Dinner will be served at 7.30pm. Following dinner, the Mayor will address her guests and proceed with the charity auction and raffle. The live entertainment will follow from 10pm. Men should wear Dinner Jackets or Lounge Suits, with long evening or cocktail dresses for ladies.
Other attendees will include Councillors, Mayors and Chairmen of Hertfordshire and representatives from the Mayor's charities.
