The nearest Post office to Lemsford, is Handside. Do you use it? Whatever the answer, What is your view if it closed? Have your say.

Handside Post Office is an institution it has been on the corner off Handside and Marsden Roads for over 80yrs.
It is well used and a bit small but effecient and profitable.

PROTEST SATURDAY MORNING 7th JUNE

PROTEST THIS SATURDAY MORNING
So this Saturday morning I'm teaming up with the Welwyn Hatfield Times to march for the future of our local Post Offices and I'd very much like you to join me Grant.

We'll be meeting at the Marsden Road Post Office at 10am and will marching to the Post Office in WGC Town Centre where we'll congregate on Howardsgate (opposite the town centre Post Office and the Welwyn Hatfield Times office).
Click here to see the route we'll be taking:

http://www.multimap.com/maps/?hloc=GB|AL8%206YG  click on link and type in AL8 6YG

This main event is intended as a protest against closing any of our 17 Post Offices, so please join us regardless of whether Marsden Road happens to be your nearest Post Office.

I hope to see you at 10am on Saturday morning at Marsden Road, WGC.

Yours,
Grant Shapps MP

I went on the march today and it was supported by a lot of people who really believe in saving our post offices. The speakers all spoke with passion and a genuine belief in this important issue.
